The Drinks Business: Rioja Masters 2012

The Drinks Business, prestigiosa revista de bebidas en UK, ha anunciado que va a realizar un "Rioja Masters 2012" para encontrar y premiar los mejores marcas de Rioja en 5 categorías

Joven Tinto, Blanco y Rosado
Crianza Tinto, Blanco
Reserva Tinto, Blanco
Gran Reserva Tinto, Blanco
Rioja de + 15 anos

The drinks business is proud to announce the launch of the "Rioja Masters". A competition to find and reward the finest Rioja brands on the world stage.
A panel of leading industry specialists, including on- and off-trade buyers, restaurateurs, MWs, and category experts will judge the wines submitted in a blind tasting, to discover the best in five categories:

- Joven (red, white and rosé)
- Crianza (red and white)
- Reserva (red and white)
- Gran Reserva (red and white)
- Very Old Rioja (15 years +, red and white)

The judges will evaluate each wine on its own merit awarding it a bronze, silver, gold
or master medal. There is no limit on the number of medals in any given category,
which means that no two wines are vying for the top slot in direct competition with
each other.

Entries for the Rioja Masters competition will close on Friday 28 September. Results will be published in the Spanish report and The Drinks Business Hong Kong November edition.
